Girl Scout Boating Camp

For a week our highly trained volunteers share their love of being on the water with campers at Rueter-Hess Reservoir and Soda Lake. Keeping safety in mind is our number 1 priority. We teach campers what is possible and explore what they can do.   

5 - day Sport Sampler  Camp:  Our 5 day sports sampler camp for 11 and older is spent exploring each water craft, learning basic rescue techniques, the history of each craft, and ending the week in a competition to show off their skills they have learned during the week.   

3 - day Jr. Paddle Camp:  Our 3 day exploration camp is for campers 6 to 10 years of age to enjoy water crafts in a safe and fun way.  It’s great to get started and find out what you can do!  

Program Aids: Enjoy all of the fun of camp while helping younger girls learn the skills they need to have in a fun and safe manner.  All the perks of camp with more freedom.
